Biography & Areas of Expertise
Norm Bain is Lean Services Consultant with OEM, an international
consulting company based in Western Canada. An Engineering Technologist,
Norm brings a wealth of experience in fast paced, make it happen
environments.

He has a diverse industrial and manufacturing background including work assignments in
process automation and controls, IT, mining, pulp and paper, automotive, food processing,
pharmaceutical, aerospace, custom welding, engineered products and construction.
He has led significant change throughout the value stream including purchasing,
quality, maintenance, production and engineering as area supervisor, department manager,
Plant Manager and Director of Operations over multiple plants.

As a graduate of the Leadership Development Program, he is a promoter
of the Center for Creative Leadership.

Norm has a definite advantage, having worked at many levels of organizations, enabling him
to quickly relate to issues facing people throughout the clients operation. He has
benchmarked facilities in Canada, the USA and Mexico. Norm is dedicated to helping
his clients succeed in implementing step change and establishing and achieving
organizational goals.
